We Believe...

The Holy Scriptures
The Bible (the 66 books of the Old and New Testaments) is the inspired Word of God, revealing Himself, His character, and His will to mankind. It is infallible and inerrant in its original manuscripts and is the final and ultimate authority regarding doctrine and faith.

The Triune God
There is one true and living God Who is revealed to us as (3) separate and distinct persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Co-equal and co-eternal, they function as one entity in will and purpose.

God the Father
God the Father is the Creator of the heavens and the earth. He is supreme over all; holy and just, righteous in all His ways. He is all-powerful, all-knowing, and all-wise.

God the Son
Jesus Christ, the Son of God is fully God and fully man. He preexisted eternally, was conceived of the Holy Spirit lived a perfect and sinless life, died for the sin of mankind, was resurrected by the power of God, ascended into heaven where He’s seated at the right hand of God the Father, making intercession for those that come to Him. He will return to rule and reign on the earth in righteousness.

God the Holy Spirit
God the Holy Spirit was sent from the Father by the Son to reveal and glorify the Lord Jesus Christ. He convicts the world of sin, imparts new life and indwells those that believe, and empowers the believer for godly living and spiritual service.

Man
Man is a created being, in the image and likeness of God, and is dependent upon and accountable to God, his Creator. He is born with a sinful nature, under the power and dominion of Satan through the sin of the first man, Adam.

Redemption
Redemption is God’s plan for sinful man. The penalty and payment for sin is death. Jesus Christ paid the price by dying in our place. This redemptive work provides forgiveness of sins, freedom from the penalty of sin and the power of Satan, favor with God, and eternal life.

Salvation
Salvation is a gift of God available to everybody. It cannot be earned or granted based on human merit, a person’s good works. It is freely given of God by His grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Salvation becomes effective when a person believes in the saving and redemptive work of Jesus and acknowledges Jesus as his Savior and Lord.

Resurrection
There will be a bodily resurrection of all the dead. The believer will be raised to everlasting joy and blessedness with the Lord. The unbeliever will be raised to everlasting judgment and punishment, eternally separated from the Lord.

The Great Commission
The primary mission of the believer is to proclaim the gospel, the good news that God has reconciled mankind unto Himself through the death of Jesus the Christ. It is to make disciples of the Lord Jesus by preaching and teaching the gospel. It is to mature saints in the word of righteousness and to encourage a lifestyle of good works.
